UNN Points (UNNconomy) in Star Citizen

Introduction #

As you adventure with the Unnamed community, you’ve probably heard whispers about the legendary “points.” Whether they come up during operations, recruitment drives, or community contests, they all refer to the same thing: UNN Points.

Points are our way of recognizing and rewarding participation. Every time you help strengthen the community—whether by flying in a Star Citizen operation, joining a Community Game Night, or welcoming new members—you’re earning points. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about our UNNconomy.

What Are UNN Points Good For? #

So you’ve been active and built up some points—what now? Think of them as a community currency. You can use them for:

  • Raffle entries for prizes and game packages
  • Merch or in-game items
  • Special perks and more

Recent rewards within our Star Citizen division have included:

  • Star Citizen Starter Packs
  • Ships and vehicles
  • Wikelo turn-ins
  • Event support and rewards
  • aUEC payouts

And they’re not limited to raffles or giveaways. Points also work as our own in-house in-game currency. Want to stealth-fit your fighter? Talk to an Industry rep and cash in your points for parts. Interested in buying some gear from a member? Check out our #sc-market to purchase them.

How Do I Earn Points? #

Points aren’t the goal—they’re a thank you for making the community stronger. But if you’re looking to build them up, the best way is simple: RSVP to events, show up ready, participate, and have fun.

Event leaders decide final payouts, but here are some common factors:

  • Length of the event
  • Hazard Pay (PVP, new content, etc.)
  • Modifiers (timeliness, performance, outcome)
  • Recognition (leadership, extra effort, filling tough roles)

Can I Earn Points Just by Playing? #

Generally—no. Points are designed to reward community involvement, not solo play. Scheduled events are the easiest way for leaders to track participation fairly.

That said, Star Citizen thrives on spontaneous gameplay. If you rally a group for an unscheduled op (a jailbreak, pirate cleanup, etc.), make it count:

  1. Post in #sc-party-up and ping @here to gather players
  2. Take screenshots or clips of the action
  3. Share the participant list and a quick recap with SC Administration

If the event meets the bar, you might earn points! And if you find yourself frequently leading impromptu ops, consider talking with SC Administration about joining the Events Team.

How Do I Check My Points? #

We keep things transparent with a spreadsheet. Love it or hate it, that’s where your totals live—complete with all the formulas doing the math behind the scenes. You can find that document in the pinned Important Forum inside the Star Citizen Section of the Discord.

Questions and Concerns? #

Please feel free to reach out and ask any administration or event team member on points and any questions you may have. Were here to help and make this experience fun for everyone to the best of our ability! #Create a ticket at the top of the discord and Star Citizen request for more information.
