COMMUNITY JOBS

These positions are aimed at overall community management, and to aide in the community as a whole. (Click to expand on each opportunity)

A community recruiter is responsible for being the first point of entry of membership into our community. 

Your tasks include: 

  • Screening applicants 
  • Handling and tracking applications 
  • Membership offers or denials 

Our events team is responsible for being engaging members of our community, encouraging membership to take part in events in different games, parties and more.

Your tasks include: 

  • Creating events
  • Brainstorming ideas with the events team
  • Hosting and managing events

Our media team is responsible for capturing the true essence of what it is to be Unnamed. Utilize our social media networks, building content, filming kodak moments and streaming to the world.

Your tasks include: 

  • Handling our social media channels and posting content 
  • Utilizing a creative mindset and working with fellow media teammates to produce AAA (ish) content!

The Unnamed is searching for individuals who wish to be responsible for posting community content, engaging our community through working with all other teams to produce a welcoming environment. 

Your Task Includes: 

  • Utilizing all the tools at your disposal to keep our community an engaging place to be 
  • Working with all teams to ensure the community is healthy and operating normally 
  • Work with events crews to get community “Flavour of the Month” games
  • Post content that engages members to post / interact with our discord
  • Ensure that the discord is flowing smoothly 
  • Take a management role over Squad or Star Citizen

Are you a tech savvy individual looking to wrangle some bots? Our staff have an ever growing list of requests, and are in need of you to help us maintain or improve our technologically growing discord. 

Your tasks include: 

  • Working with existing discord tools, or build/bring on new ones 
  • Work within existing budgets and constraints 
  • Help enhance / monitor and maintain current discord workflows

Want to take our servers into your own hands? Game servers are a fickle beast, and managing them is no easy task. We’re looking for individuals with Javascript and/or server management experience. If you’re interested in the data side of things, we ask you know SQL and how to utilize data to bring data for leadership’s decision making. 

Your tasks include: 

  • Server management
  • Plugin and Server Uptime Management
  • Enhancing / Maintain existing services 
  • Providing support to game leadership teams in order to maintain the best experience we can, for our players and members

Admins need to be trained by the best, and that’s this team right here. Be a part of our amazing community, right from the core. Train fellow admins, and recruit new ones. 

Your tasks include: 

  • Training admins through our training program 
  • Recruiting of admins, and handling of staff applications 
  • Tracking and monitoring admin progress, maintaining the flow from moderator to full time administrator

GAME SPECIFIC

These positions are aimed at individual games, allowing you to strut your stuff, by supporting our individual official offerings.

Squad admins are our frontline game staff, taking the power of our game server into their own hands. You are responsible for maintaining the peace and tranquility, in an utterly chaotic game experience.

Your tasks include: 

  • Handling player report tickets
  • Upholding to our evidence standards via uploading clips, and generating cases
  • Responding to player requests
  • Dedicating time in-game to ensuring a smooth gameplay experience

Have you ever witnessed a painstakingly slow helicopter pilot? Watched that one cutlass black pilot crash into the dock 10 times? Played a game where your armour lost the map? 

You can be the change, and start teaching our community members, via our Sherpa program! 

Your task includes: 

  • Working with and training individuals on a 1 on 1 basis 
  • Answering tickets and writing summaries
  • Display what it truly means to be Unnamed, through an engaging experience

Our administrators are top knotch! However, we want to remain accountable to all that we do. Stay on top of our administration and moderation team, by engaging in analytics, building policies, and working on the administration wiki! 

Your tasks include: 

  • Monitoring administration for feedback and performance 
  • Be a senior leader and guide new administrators on the Unnamed’s philosophies and policies 
  • Review ban evidence, and update where required
  • Help out through educational wiki articles, and more!

Banned players are a normal visitor of our ticket system. You need thick skin sometimes in order to deal with individuals. Handling appeals, allows our checks and balances to be maintained. Having a third party team, ensures the hive flows smoothly. 

Your tasks include: 

  • Handling ban appeal tickets
  • Working with the admin team to ensure the ban evidence is appropriate 
  • Keeping in mind the communities values, when making the final decision on the appeal 
  • Escalate tickets when required, to ensure a smooth flow if you are concerned with the appeal result

The Star Citizen Community is looking for a manager to take care of daily day to day, engage the player base and more!
